Artist, icon, friend and Detroit legend Tom Wright has had a stroke, two of them to be exact, and now he needs our help. Those of us who love music, the Grande Ballroom and the many other things he helped to influence in the music community are coming together to help. Partial proceeds of each Commemorative Grande Ballroom Lapel Pin sold to benefit Tom Wright.

Thanks to Tom Wright we went behind the scenes and on the road with the bands. His job as road manager along with a trained photographic perspective and close personal relationships with the musicians and crew of some of the world's most influential bands like The Who, Rod Stewart, The Rolling Stones, Joe Walsh, Fabulous Thunderbirds, J.D. Souther, Patsy Torres, Firefall, and many others, came together to create one of the most impassioned bodies of work in music photography history.

Pete Townshend said "Without Tom coming into my life, I don't think I would have heard the music that I heard that was so important for me when I was a kid." We owe Tom Wright a debt of gratitude. This is a time to come together and thank the storyteller, the photographer, historian and archivist.
